Vatican City (Thursday, 10.02.2014, Gaudium Press) The “Apostleship of Prayer” receives monthly prayer intentions from the Pope and urges Christians throughout the world to unite with him in prayer for those intentions.
For the month of October the Holy Father gave the following general intention: That the Lord may grant peace to those parts of the world most battered by war and violenceAs his evangelization Intention the Pope requested that World Mission Day may rekindle in every believer zeal for carrying the Gospel into the entire world.(EPC)
