A Congress entitled “Two Great Saints in Tepeyac” is part of the celebrations for the canonization of the seer of Guadalupe.

Newsroom(14/07/2022 21:06, Gaudium Press) Through a special and free congress, held in the Basilica of Guadalupe, the 20th anniversary of the canonization of St. Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin, seer of Our Lady of Guadalupe, will be celebrated.

In its title, “Two great Saints in Tepeyac,” the event also recalls and honors Pope Saint John Paul II, the Pontiff who presided over the canonization ceremony of Saint Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin.
Scheduled to take place between July 29-31, the congress will be open to the public, who can participate in person or through the social networks of the Institute for Guadalupan Studies.
Congress Schedule
The opening ceremony of the congress will take place on July 29th at 4pm (local time). On the same day two conferences are scheduled. The first, given by Pedro Durán, will deal with ‘Youth and Spirituality’. The second will be given by the Rector of the Vasco de Quiroga University, Raúl Martínez.
On July 30, the program will begin with a conference by Dr. David Ricardo Ojeda, entitled “Stars in the Mantle of the Virgin of Guadalupe. This will be followed by a testimonial panel. In the afternoon, Gerardo Ojeda will talk about ‘Volcanoes and mountains in the Virgin of Guadalupe’.
Also on the same day, Doctor David Ojeda will give a talk entitled ‘Beyond Your Pregnancy’. Then, Doctor Fernando Ojeda will deal with ‘Music in the Image of Santa Maria de Guadalupe’. The congress will close on July 31 with a Solemn Holy Mass in the Basilica of Guadalupe. (EPC)
