Various initiatives are taking place in different countries to prepare the faithful for the canonization of the young Blessed.
Newsroom (13/08/2024 12:45, Gaudium Press) On the occasion of the approaching canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis, on a date yet to be confirmed by the Holy See, numerous initiatives dedicated to him are being carried out around the world, such as exhibitions and displays of his relics for the veneration of the faithful.
Exhibition recalls Eucharistic miracles
An exhibition created by Carlo Acutis, made up of 23 panels recalling some Eucharistic miracles, is set up in the amphitheater of the church of San Lorenzo in Mandriola, Sardinia. On July 28, the Chapel of the Immaculate Hospital in Sapri received the relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis with a Holy Mass celebrated at 9am.
Veneration of relic at US Eucharistic Congress
In addition, a first-degree relic of the Blessed was sent to the United States and exhibited in front of 58,000 people who attended the National Eucharistic Congress. The pilgrimage through the North American country began on July 8, in Washington State, and visited some churches in the Archdiocese of Seattle.
Pilgrimage of Carlo Acutis’ relic in Germany
Another relic, made up of strands of Carlo Acutis’ hair, was sent to Germany and exhibited for the veneration of the faithful on July 21, in the Church of the Holy Spirit in Viktualienmark, Munich. The relic will continue its pilgrimage to various countries. (EPC)
