Newsroom (31/08/2022 15:00, Gaudium Press) The Catholic faithful of Veracruz have spoken out against the construction of a satanic temple being undertaken in the municipality of Catemaco, assuring that it will only bring death and destruction.
Bishop Carlos Briseño Arch, Bishop of Veracruz, made clear the Church’s position in the face of this type of belief.
“Of course, we are against everything that is destruction; Satan is the prince of destruction and seeks to prevent us from leading a happy life on earth. So promoting this seems a bit irrational to me,” the bishop of Veracruz stated.
He added that Satanism is not a true religion or relationship with God and appealed to the people’s conscience not to give space to these kinds of ideologies that only lead to self-destruction and harm to those around them.
“The devil does not want believers or followers, but slaves in will, in soul and in everything,” stressed Spanish exorcist Fr. Francisco Torres Ruiz. “The devil does not grant favors. Therefore, it is a mistake to think that this will have any positive influence on people,” he assured.
He warned that those who perform this cult and collaborate in this temple, donating resources, besides incurring the grave sin of idolatry, “could have a strong influence of the devil of any kind, from infestation or vexation to diabolical possession itself.”
“Although the devil is stronger than we are, and has an angelic nature, any child of God in grace is stronger and more powerful, and the devil is afraid of him. We are invincible if we are with God. The enemy is a fallen angel, a creature, and therefore has no power because he is not God, and he does not grant favor. Only God is omnipotent”, concluded the Spanish priest.
Satanic temple

This church of Satan would be the third in America and the first in Mexico, as it would join the one in Colombia and the one in Detroit, USA.
The witch Enrique Marthen Berdon assured that in Mexico and the world there are many worshipers of Lucifer, and nothing better than a city as mystical as Catemaco to build a temple, with donations from people who want to have a space where they can worship the devil and be in communion with Lucifer.
The witch doctor pointed out that space will be created to honor Satan, for people who somehow believe that “el diablo” has given them well-being, health, or money. Enrique Marthen assured that every day the “adoration” and “faith” towards Lucifer grows.
