“With this exhibit, a time is opened to highlight the value of the Eucharist and the real presence of Christ in the sacrament,” said religious Óscar García.

Newsroom (12/04/2022 10:25 AM, Gaudium Press) to highlight the value of the Eucharist and the presence of Jesus in it, the Temple church, located in the Spanish city of Valencia, hosted last Saturday, April 9, a traveling exhibition about the most well known Eucharistic miracles in the world.

An exhibition designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis

The exhibit is special because it was designed by young Blessed Carlo Acutis, who showed a special Eucharistic devotion from an early age. Among the miracles featured are some that occurred in the Diocese of Valencia itself, such as those in Alborada-Almassèra, Alcoi, Moncada, and Silla.

From the delegated rector of the church of El Temple de Valencia, the religious Cooperator of the Truth Óscar García, “with this exhibition, a time is opened to highlight the value of the Eucharist and the real presence of Christ in the sacrament. Many people who have already visited the exhibit in other countries report having received special graces.”

Who was Blessed Carlo Acutis?

Born in Italy in 1991, Carlo Acutis died of leukemia at the age of 15. He was noted for having lived through his illness with integrity and faith and had a strong attraction for the Eucharistic miracles.

In 2002, after visiting the exhibits at the Rimini meetings, he decided to create an exhibit of the main Eucharistic miracles. For this work, which lasted two and a half years, he had the help of some family members. According to him, people sanctify themselves by being in front of the Eucharistic Jesus. Carlo Acutis was beatified in 2020. (EPC)
