Today, April 4, the Catholic Liturgy celebrates the memory of St. Isidore of Seville, Bishop and Doctor of the Church.
Newsroom (04/04/2022 15:35, Gaudium Press) Saint Isidore was born in the year 560 in Seville. From a Christian family, he was educated in the principles of Catholicism from an early age and began his studies of religion while he was still young. Besides Latin, he learned Greek and Hebrew.

He died on April 4, 636, after serving for more than thirty-two years as Archbishop of Seville. He was canonized in 1598 by Pope Clement VIII and declared a Doctor of the Church in 1722 by Pope Innocent XIII. He is considered one of the patron saints of the Internet.

Prayer of Saint Isidore of Seville
Almighty and eternal God, who molded us in your image and commanded us to seek all that is good, true, and beautiful, especially in the Divine Person of your Only Begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant us, we beseech you, that through the intercession of Saint Isidore, bishop and doctor, in our travels through the Internet, we may move our hands and eyes to the things that please you, and welcome with charity and patience all those we meet. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. (EPC)
