Major Archbishop of Kyiv Reports “Luminous Angels” in Ukraine’s Sky

“Today we see that St. Michael the Archangel is fighting for Ukraine with the whole heavenly army,” reports Archbishop Major Sviatoslav Schevchuk in a March 4th video.

Newsroom (06/03/2022 3:05 PM, Gaudium Press) Various media outlets have reported the statements of His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Major Archbishop of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, telling how “many people” have reported seeing “luminous angels over the land of Ukraine.”

Ukraine prays and endures in prayer

IN a youtube video, subtitled in English, His Beatitude thanked all the soldier-defenders of Ukraine and remarked that “here in Kiev, we know that the patron saint of our city is Archangel Michael, who with the cry “Who is like unto God” threw into the abyss Lucifer, the leader of the diabolical armies – the one who rebelled against God’s truth. Today we see that St. Michael the Archangel is fighting for Ukraine with the whole heavenly army.

And he continued, “Many people from different parts of Ukraine share their experiences with me: ‘we saw luminous angels over the Ukrainian land.’ So today we pray: ‘Arch-strategist Michael, and all the heavenly army, all the incorporeal heavenly forces, fight for Ukraine, drive out the devil who is attacking us, killing us, bringing us destruction and death!” the Archbishop conveyed in a video recorded on March 4, 2022.

Meanwhile, images of clouds with angelic shapes over Kyiv are circulating on Social Media.

The coat of arms of Kyiv City depicts Saint Michael holding a sword of fire and a shield. And a Statue of St Michael dominates Independence Square, the City’s main Square.
