Newsdesk (July 24, 2021 9:07 AM Gaudium Press) On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the proclamation of Our Lady of Aparecida as Patroness of Brazil, celebrated in 2021, the Marial Academy of Aparecida, in partnership with ITESP (São Paulo Institute for Higher Studies), will hold a live broadcast with Fathers Dilermando Ramos and Rodrigo José Arnoso on July 30, at 8:00 pm.
The live broadcast, which will deal with this theme, intends to deepen the audience’s knowledge of the main pastoral and popular elements of Mariology, based on the devotion to Our Lady of Aparecida.
Partnership between the Marial Academy of Aparecida and the São Paulo Institute for Higher Studies
This broadcast will be the first event of a series of events to be held in partnership with the Institute, which aims to offer pastoral theological formation to people who seek to understand and know more about the principles of the Christian Faith.
Marking the beginning of the partnership between the Academy and ITESP, to promote Mariological reflection, the meeting on the 30th will be free and open to the interested public. The priests who will participate represent the Institute and the Redemptorist missionaries, responsible for the care and propagation of devotion to Our Lady of Aparecida.
Participating Priests
Father Dilermando Ramos will be one of the participants. He has a degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais and in Theology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He holds a Master’s degree in Mariology from the Pontifical Theological Faculty Marianum and a Ph.D. in Ecclesiastical History from the Pontifical Gregorian University. Currently, the priest is a visiting professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná.
Redemptorist Father and missionary Rodrigo Arnoso has a degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (SP) and in Theology from the São Paulo Institute for Higher Studies, a Master’s Degree in Sacred Liturgy from the Pontifical Liturgical Institute of Rome, Ateneo Sant’Anselmo (2014), and a Ph.D. in Christian Theology, with a concentration in Liturgy, from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. He is currently a professor at the Instituto de Estudos Superiores São Paulo (ITESP) and the Centro Universitário Salesiano – Instituto Pio XI, bachelor’s degree course in Theology. (EPC)
