The Italian association Pro Vita & Famiglia (Pro-Life and Family) has reported an attack on their office in Rome, following derogatory remarks made by Mario Colamarino, the leader of an LGBT Pride demonstration in Italy.

Newsroom(13/06/2023 19:30Gaudium PressOn June 10, during the demonstration in Rome, participants passed by the Pro Vita & Famiglia (Pro-Life and Family) association’s office and allegedly resorted to insults and verbal aggression, as claimed by Jacopo Coghe, the association’s president.

Coghe has asserted that these incidents, coupled with statements from the leader of the LGBT lobby in Italy, have fostered a “climate of hate” that culminated in the attack on Pro Vita & Famiglia’s office on June 12.

The security gate of the office was covered with messages such as “abortion on demand,” “fascists should be hanged,” and “transfeminist revenge.” Remnants of eggs thrown at the entrance were also visible.

Taking to Twitter, Coghe expressed his disappointment: “Here again is the #LGBTQIA intolerance that only knows how to insult, denigrate, threaten, and wants to shut up everyone who thinks differently.”

Despite these acts of violence, Coghe affirmed that his organization will persist in pursuing its objectives. “We will not be intimidated, and we will continue our efforts to defend life, family, educational freedom, and children,” he asserted.
