Newsroom (30/06/2022 15:41, Gaudium Press) Dozens of men gathered last Saturday, June 25, in Germany to pray the Rosary at the feet of Our Lady. The Men’s Rosary in the country, promoted by the organization Christ For Men, was recited asking for the unity of the Church and in defense of the family and of life from conception.
Promoting a more active participation of men in prayer
The meeting, which took place outside St. Mary’s Cathedral in Hamburg, Germany, brought together about 50 men who recited the rosary kneeling before an image of Our Lady of Fatima.
Founded in March of this year in Poland, Christ For Men has about a thousand members and is inspired by the words of St. Pius X: “Give me an army that prays the rosary and I will overcome the world. The organization aims to promote a more active participation of men in prayer.
Intentions of the Rosary of Men in Germany
According to the organizers of the event, the initiative took place with five main intentions: the unity of the Catholic Church”, because of the great risk of division in which the world finds itself and also in view of the German Synod Path; for the priests in Germany, that they may fulfill their vocation.
In addition, prayers were also offered for the protection of human life from the moment of natural conception until natural death, because both abortion and euthanasia are incompatible with the Gospel; for the protection of the natural family; and for world peace and all those affected by wars.
