Vatican City (July 6, 2021 15:52, Gaudium Press) On Sunday, July 4, during the Angelus, Pope Francis announced his visit to Slovakia and Hungary, taking place in September.
Closing Mass of the International Eucharistic Congress
“I am happy to announce that from the next 12 to 15 September, God willing, I will travel to Slovakia to make a pastoral visit” he said. The Pontiff also explained that on the morning of September 12th he will concelebrate in Budapest, Hungary, the closing Mass of the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress.

Cities to be visited in Slovakia
Although the program for the Pope’s trip has not yet been made public, the director of the Holy See’s Press Office, Matteo Bruni, confirmed in a statement that in Slovakia the Pontiff will visit the cities of Bratislava, Présov, Koesice and Sastin. (EPC)
