For many years, he served as an exorcist for the Archdiocese of La Plata. Many recognized his gift of healing, including Pope Francis, who, at the time he was the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, sent people to him.

Newsroom (07/06/2023 15:51, Gaudium Press) Carlos Mancuso, 89 years old, a long-time exorcist of the Archdiocese of La Plata in Argentina, has passed away. The priest was also known for laying his hands on the sick, and many recognized his gift of healing.

The priest stood out for his warnings about the increase in satanism, although he also cautioned that cases of true possession were few compared to those of people who, believing themselves to be under the influence of evil, suffered only from mental disorders.

In a lecture at the 15th edition of the Catholic Book Fair in La Plata, the priest declared, “Satanism is undoubtedly a growing phenomenon, and the number of satanic sects is increasing worldwide.”

On another occasion, he established a connection between Satan and the phenomenon of abortion: “The blood of aborted children opens ancient gates of hell that have remained closed since the beginning of the world, from which demons emerge to cause serious harm to humanity.”
