USA (Monday, November 09, 2015, Gaudium Press) The cover page of the US edition of the December 2015 issue of the National Geographic Magazine, a magazine that cannot be considered as “friendly” towards the Catholic Church, has been released. The title of this issue will be:”Mary, the most powerful woman in the world”.

The story, written by Maureen Orth, runs through some of the most famous Marian apparitions worldwide and at the same time tells the stories of people who received graces through the intercession of the Virgin Mary. The article also addresses the subject of the process that the Church follows to recognize the supernatural character of an apparitions.

Orth also includes a brief reference to the role of Mary in Islam: Although not much known, in the Muslim world there is a veneration to the woman they also consider the most holy woman of all women, Mary the mother of Jesus.
