The former Prefect for the Doctrine of the Faith made strong statements to Kath.net.

Newsroom (01/11/2023 09:00, Gaudium Press) The former Prefect for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, made strong statements to the Catholic news website Kath.net about the progress of the Synod in which he participated and which has now come to an end.

“My influence on the Synod was completely limited. I was only able to speak publicly once. However, the conversations were good. It was only the influence of the agenda that was visible in everything, (blessing of extra-marital sexuality, before and outside marriage, diaconate and priestly ordination of women, levelling the gap between priests, bishops and lay people) even in the selection of Synod members for the press conferences, where they monotonously repeated their theses. For heretics and globalists, there was no papal ban on silence. The call for harmony was supposed to mean that no one could oppose this agenda if they did not want to be ridiculed as a rigorist, traditionalist or clericalist,” the cardinal pointed out.

In a totally anti-Catholic/orthodox way, the Spirit has always been spoken of without considering that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person and not fluid, and therefore can only be mentioned together with the Son and the Father. Only those who believe in the Incarnate Son of God have the Spirit of Christ, distinct from the spirit of the world or the spirit of the antichrist,” he emphasised.
