Newsroom (17/03/2025 09:30, Gaudium Press) On Monday afternoon, March 10, the Holy See Press Office released an updated bulletin on Pope Francis’ health conditions.

His clinical condition remains stable.

According to the document, “the Holy Father’s clinical condition remains stable” and “the improvements recorded in previous days have been further consolidated, as confirmed by blood tests, clinical objectivity, and the good response to drug therapy. For these reasons, the doctors decided to withdraw the reserved prognosis”.

The note also notes that “in view of the complexity of the clinical picture and the significant infectious condition presented on admission, it will be necessary to continue pharmacological medical treatment in a hospital environment for a few more days.”

Pope Francis’ day

According to the Vatican, the Pope had a quiet night, maintaining his rest. Throughout the day, he alternated prayer and rest. In the morning, he followed the Spiritual Exercises in connection with the Paul VI Hall. He then received the Holy Eucharist and went to the chapel of his private apartment for a moment of prayer. In the afternoon, Francis again took part in the Spiritual Exercises of the Curia. (EPC)
