Newsroom (August 13, 2021 10:40 AM, Gaudium Press) On August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption of Our Lady, more than five thousand pilgrim images of Our Lady of Fatima will travel through all the parishes of Mexico.

Action promoted by the international movement Mater Fatima

This apostolic action, entitled ‘Our Lady Pilgrim Apostolate of Mater Fatima’, is promoted by the international Mater Fatima movement. “The missionaries of Mary who are part of this apostolate have been working on the elaboration of the small images since May 13,” says a statement from Mater Fátima.

Approximately 40 of these images will receive a symbolic blessing from Father Héctor Ramírez Sanz Cerrada, director and founder of Mater Fátima for the World, during the launching retreat from August 12 to 15.

Pilgrim Images will be given to the parishes

Each Mexican parish will receive the donation of at least ten images of Our Lady of Fatima, which will go around the homes that are open to this initiative. Each home will be able to receive each image for three to nine days, committing to recite the Holy Rosary daily before Our Lady.

The images will be accompanied by information about the apparitions of Our Lady to the three little shepherds of Fatima, a small manual teaching how to pray the Rosary, and testimonies of graces received through the recitation of the Holy Rosary. (EPC)
