Newsroom (14/03/2025 Gaudium Press) On this Friday, March 14, Pope Francis completes one month of hospitalization at the Agostino Gemelli University Polyclinic in Rome. According to the Holy See Press Office, Pope Francis’ health remains stable, and doctors have decided not to issue the scheduled medical bulletin for tonight, which has been interpreted as a positive sign.
Less Frequent Medical Bulletins
A new medical update is expected on Saturday night. However, due to the stability of Pope Francis’ health, it is likely that medical bulletins will become less frequent. The Holy See Press Office also confirmed that there will no longer be nightly updates on how the Pope is doing. His recovery is slow and requires time for improvements to take hold.
Daily Routine and Treatments
Pope Francis had a peaceful night. In the morning, he watched the conclusion of the spiritual exercises conducted by Capuchin Father Roberto Pasolini in the Paul VI Hall via video, dedicating the rest of the day to prayer.
The Holy Father continues with his prescribed treatments, including respiratory and motor physiotherapy. Additionally, he alternates between non-invasive mechanical ventilation at night and high-flow oxygen therapy with nasal cannulas during the day.
