Pope Francis’ condition remained stable, after the respiratory crisis Friday afternoon.

 

Newsroom (03/03/2025 Gaudium Press) The latest health update on Pope Francis reveals a positive outlook as his condition remains stable after a respiratory crisis. The Holy See Press Office provided an update on March 1, 2025, confirming that the Pope is recovering steadily.

Pope Francis Health Status Remains Stable


Pope Francis has been alternating between non-invasive mechanical ventilation and high-flow oxygen therapy, always maintaining a good response to gas exchange. No New Episodes of Bronchospasm

The Vatican’s health update assures that his hemodynamic parameters have remained stable, and he continues to eat independently. Regular sessions of respiratory physiotherapy are being carried out, with the Pope actively cooperating.

Pope Remains in Good Spirits


Despite his health challenges, Pope Francis continues to maintain a positive attitude. He remains alert, oriented, and in good spirits. In the afternoon, he received the Eucharist and spent time in prayer, in a small chapel near his room.
