Handicraft Products and Delicacies
Through the website www.trapistaspalacoulo.pt it is possible to order handicrafts produced by religious, such as rosaries and key chains, devotional books, and delicacies (almonds and sweet and savory cookies, nougat and other goodies).
Those interested can place their orders by adding the desired products to a virtual shopping cart. After confirmation of payment, the products will be shipped to the buyer’s address. Deliveries are taking place in Portugal only.
International Fair of Conventual Sweets & Liqueurs
The religious women intend to participate in the 22nd edition of the International Showcase of Conventual Sweets & Liqueurs, which will take place in the Alcobaça Monastery between November 17th and 20th. The first edition of the event took place in November 1999.
In the first years, the event took place in a tent. From 2006 on, the show took place inside the Monastery of Santa Maria de Alcobaça, gathering representatives from Spain, France, Belgium, Poland, and Brazil. (EPC)
