World Federation of the Eucharistic Works of the Church Will Meet in Spain

The event will feature several conferences on the Eucharist, as well as moments of adoration, prayer and Eucharistic celebrations.

Spain – Leon (03/09/2022 2:00 PM, Gaudium Press) The World Federation of the Eucharistic Works of the Church is preparing the third edition of the Inter-association Days, which will be held in the Spanish city of Leon between September 30 and October 2, 2022.

The event will include several conferences on the Eucharist, as well as moments of adoration, prayer and Eucharistic celebrations. Associations that wish to participate actively in the program should indicate this at the time of registration.

Speakers and themes of the conferences

Among the speakers are: Francisco Rodríguez Llamazares, Abbot of the Chapter of the Collegiate of San Isidoro – León, who will speak about the Eucharist in León; Fernando-Pío Galán Artal, Doctor in Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas – Angelicum of Rome, who will address the topic “Eucharist and Secular Apostolate, Father Royo Marín’s perspective”.

Juna Miguel Ferrer Grenesche, Canon of the Cathedral Primate of Toledo and Ecclesiastical Assistant of the Federation, will also speak on the theme “Synodality in Eucharistic Perspective”. The religious will also be responsible for presiding over the closing Mass of the event in the Basilica of San Isidro, in Leon (Spain).

World Federation of the Eucharistic Works of the Church

The World Federation of the Eucharistic Works of the Church is a confederation of secular associations, linked to the Dicastery for the Laity, the Family and Life, recognized as a public Association of Pontifical Rights, member of the permanent commission for the International Eucharistic Congresses, and inscribed among those of an international character with which the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments maintains a particular relationship and collaboration.

Its main objectives are to foment, encourage and propagate the worship of the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, promote doctrinal, liturgical and spiritual formation on the mystery of the Eucharist, cultivate the spirit of brotherhood and mutual help among all its members, serve as a channel of communication and mutual support of all the Eucharistic works of the Church, always in agreement with the Ecclesiastical Authority of the corresponding territory.
